Being Somewhere

Cost: $50 with an option to donate to “Books Not Bombs”

“Being Somewhere”, an extension of the “Be Somewhere” series by David Habben, offers participants to see and experience dance and movement in a method that expands our definition of seeing and interpretation. Participants will join Habben in creating artwork that asks them to express what they see and feel in the company of performing modern dancers. More than simply unconsciously splashing paint, they will be engaged in a thoughtful reimaging of what they “see”. The workshop also involves an analysis of the work itself and a discussion about what our personal interpretations mean for our interpersonal relationships and creative practice.
